This is a NO RESERVE auction is for a very nice original Hornet X Hatchback from the dry west.I am moving and can't take it with me.I have redone the interior and completely been through it mechanicly,lots of new parts. I have a perfect 1974 grille that goes with the car.Still has the original drivetrain,258 6 cylinder automatic.Factory Air Conditioning and power steering.I have never checked the a/c it is not working,a/c clutch is ok,it may just need to be charged.It runs and drives great!! Interior is immaculate. New front and rear seat covers,new front and rear carpet, Dash is mint.Original clock still works but does not keep accurate time..Factory AM radio still works,I installed a new dash speaker.New monroe gas shocks,tires,heater hoses,oil sending unit,battery and cables,master cylinder,spark plugs,pcv valve,oil & filter change,cooling system has been flushed (good to -40),new starter solenoid,new starter,all brakes have been cleaned and adjusted and bearings repacked,front end is tight.The front tires are 195/75R14 and the rear are 235/60R14.I was going to put a V8 in this car some day and that is why the 60's are on the rear. It has a great look with these tires.The paint is 90% original Maxi Blue code F2 and is driver quality with a few scuff marks,minor dings and edge wear,I was never going to paint the car since they are only original once and it was nice enough in my opinion.The front edge of the right front fender has some body filler cracking from a minor fender bender when car was new. (see pics.) I put a small metal patch in the left quarter and passenger front floorboard,otherwise body is rust free.Original body sealer and blue paint is still in good shape on under body.(see pics.)I do not have the rear bumper to body filler panel,they may be available new (not sure) Rear cargo area and spare well are also rust free.This car could be driven anywhere.It goes down the highway a 70 m.p.h. smoothly.Fly into KCI Airport and drive it home.A $500.00 deposit is required within 48 hours of auction ending.Full payment within 7 days.Shipping is buyers responsibility.I can deliver car within 200 miles of Kansas City.Car needs to be picked up within 30 days unless other arrangements are made.Call or E-Mail with any questions 913-424-4806 Thanks for looking Jim
