| You are bidding on a 1962 Austin-Healey Sprite Mark II. This car is in top-notch condition and runs great! An older complete frame-off restoration with complete photo documentation. The engine is a 948 CC 4 cylinder. There is little to any oil leakage and the car is free of any underbody rust. Recent upgrades include: front disc brakes, new generator, new coil, new battery, and new brake/clutch master cylinder. This car is a definite 8.5 on a 10 point scale - a great 5 footer! There are a few nicks and paint chips around the body and a rub which is highlighted in the adjoining photo on the front passenger side wheelwell. I have owned the car for 5 years and have enjoyed it tremendously. I am moving and need to sell. The brakes are a little soft and my feeling is that either someone who knows how to bleed better than I do can improve them, or, there is some work that needs done on the back brakes at the wheel. Own a piece of British history and have fun turning heads all over town while you drive. The buyer will be responsible for delivery and shipping and the vehicle will not be released until payment is guaranteed. |
