Very classic 1953 Bentley R four door saloon with sun roof, grey leather seats and manual transmission. The wood trim and dash are in very good condition with two small chips on the dash. The six cylinder Bentley engine is running well and offers a very smooth ride. The chassis number is B448TN. The instruments are functioning properly except the windshield wiper motor and clock need rebuilding. The heater fan is working in the first on position but does not turn on in the second position. The rear gray leather seat is in very good shape but the front seats and left door arm rest need to be reupholstered. The exterior paint is a two tone grey and blue and paint is wearing off mostly on the rear doors and part of the roof. The tires still have a good tread. Also included is the original tool kit, workshop manual and owner's manual. There is a flashlight (as shown in photo) that plugs into a socket on the dash and is stored in the engine compartment. Due to its age there is some surface rust underneath the car.
The carburetors were rebuilt in 2007. In 2008 the brake servo was rebuilt, the brake master cylinder was replaced and brakes were adjusted. Also the oil filter was replaced and the car was lubricated. In 2009 the starter and starter motor were rebuilt and a new starter solenoid was installed.
