This is a private sale.  I am selling this for a friend whose husband was in the middle of restoring this wonderful car when he passed away.  He was a member of RROC since 1999.  This car runs just great, is beautiful, but still has to be completed by putting the parts back on to it.  All the parts are there according to his wife.  This is the Classic Bentley "R" Type 1953, straight six cylinder with twin carburetors, manual transmission, engine number B 422-S, all numbers match as per the Rolls Royce Crewe Factory archives when it was delivered new.

The vehicle had some restoration done with new two tone paint. Had a new gas tank made because old gas tank leaked.  The vehicle benefits from new tires purchased in 1999 but hardly ever driven.  Has a spare tire but is old.  New battery as of 2000 but has been disconnect so they had no chance of fire.  Chrome bumpers were rechromed but never put back on but are included.  The upholstery is original, color is Maroon Hide with maroon piping, shows some wear.  No holes or gaps.  The dash wood is Birdseye Maple.  Needs to be put back on.  Reason it is off is owner wanted to make sure all the dash worked and it does.  The tool box possibly missing one tool, hand book, all other paperwork, all work orders, part orders and all parts are included.  About 6 boxes of parts and 2 more boxes in car.  Head liner, color Grey and door covers have some wear.  Last time licensed was 1999.  All windows work.  Rear bumper holder has some corrosion, but won't have to be replaced.  Wheel wells have been sprayed.

The car has always been serviced and maintained.  Please feel free to discuss the vehicle further and any other question about a potential sale. The vehicle drives very strong and the gearbox changes very efficiently with excellent clutch plate friction. You can drive this Bentley.
