This is a1988 BMW 528e purchased on September 7, 1988 by the original owner from Jimmy Bryan BMW in Sanford, FL. The car was re-titled to the owner’s son on May 1, 2006. I purchased the car on May 13, 2008 with 66,493 miles on it.
The car has an extensive set of service records and invoices, the maintenance book and owners manual are all in like new condition, as well as assorted other sales and information documents such as the original dealer invoice and the showroom window sticker.
With the exception of routine service, normal repairs, and updated wheels, tires and steering wheel (and I have all these original items) the car is totally original. There has been no paint work done on the body of the car. The tan leather interior looks brand new, and the cargo nets on the backs of the front seats do too. This indicates the level of quality of care, as well as the very light use this car has received. There are a few small pine sap marks on the hood of the car, and there is a crack in the lower right corner of the instrument cluster cover. The a/c condenser and expansion valve were replaced on March 26, 2008 and there is a Carfax report available for inspection dated June 5, 2008 indicating no problems or issues with this car.
TERMS OF SALE
We accept Money Orders, Cashiers Checks and Wire Transfers as payment for car purchases. If payment is made by Money Order or Cashiers Check, we will hold the title until the check has cleared, 5 to 7 days from the time we receive it.
• Georgia residents pay sales tax calculated by the tax rate of the county of residency.
• If you are financing a purchase, please be pre-approved, including the car, before the auction starts.
• Once bidding starts a legal and binding contract takes place. There will be no bid retractions within 24 hours of the end of the auction.
• We reserve the right to cancel the auction early at any time for any reason.
• The car is sold AS IS. Please make sure that all your questions are fully answered.
• We require a $500 nonrefundable deposit by Paypal within 48 hours of the close of the auction, to be credited to the sales price.
• If the above payment terms are not met, all seller and Ebay contracts become void.
• The buyer is responsible for shipping. The car must be paid for and the payment check must have cleared to load the car.
• The title will be sent to the purchaser by overnight mail as soon as the check has cleared.
