Up for bid is my 1988 BMW 635CSI. I believe I am the 3rd owner. This is a nice original car that has not been molested. The car was originally kept and owned in MD and VA until I brought it to PA.
It runs and drives like a car with much fewer miles. Many, if not all, of the high wear items have been replaced or repaired. There are no modifications to the vehicle other than the change to standard 15” rims vs. the original “metric” rims and the addition of a CD player. The tires have less than 1,000 miles on them and the brakes are also fresh. The belts, hoses, fluids, and filters have also recently been replaced. This car is in excellent condition with zero body rust. It has never been hit, but has had a repaint that is in great shape and has a good shine. The engine runs strong and uses no oil. The transmission shifts great and works properly in all three modes.
Air blows cool, but could probably use another can of Freon. I drive it several times each week in the summer and maintain this car to a very high standard. Mechanically this car is 100%.
Overall the interior could use a good detailing – note the wear and stain on the front seat. I would not characterize this wear as unusual for a 1988 model year (see the pics). The front spoiler has had some repair (normal on these cars from pulling into steep driveways, etc) and could use a repaint.
Given that this is an older car, I encourage you to come take a look and/or drive - I want you to be a happy buyer. This is a really nice car that drives as it should. I don't think you will be disappointed.
Check out my rating - I don't sell junk. Thanks for looking.
