This car is the famous 1987 Buick Grand National with the 3.8 Liter Turbocharged engine. If you have been looking for one for a while, then you have probably seen one of our eBay ads before! However, this car is very unique to us, because its 99.9% factory stock. We usually specialize in building 11 and 10 sec monsters, but we decided to leave this one alone and just do a good rebuild on it!
The engine only has a couple hundred miles on it!! Just enough to break it in! The engine was rebuilt, using only Clevite Bearings, the Crank stayed STD/STD, and the bore only needed a hone and fresh Rings. The heads were freshened with a 3 angle valve job, new umbrella seals, and new valve springs. The only other modification was the addition of a Walbro 340 intake fuel pump, so the potential for a race chip or future mods is already there!! The car runs just like its brand new, because it is!! I have all of the receipts for the work, and this is one solid running car. Some will ask why we rebuilt the engine… The answer is simple, we will not sell a car not knowing the complete history of it!! We always rebuild our cars, so we can always guarantee their condition to their new owner!

The body is 100% rust free, which is becoming very hard to find today! The car is a Florida car, with great interior and a super solid body and only 90,000 miles. We just finished up painting the car, because if you are familiar with Grand Nationals, they are notorious for having bad paint, and the paint starts checking… This one did the same thing. The car was solid, but the paint was mediocre at best, so that is why we repainted it. The car was painted with the best paint in my opinion! We only use PPG paints, basecoat and clearcoat. We used 3 coats of base and 3 coats of clear, so after wet sanding and buffing, the paint is going to look amazing! These pics were taken the day after we painted, so this week, after the paint fully hardens, we will be wet sanding and buffing the orange peel that you see in the pics, out. We will be updating the pics as they come in!! I normally wouldn’t list the car yet, since we haven’t buffed the paint, but it usually takes us about a week or two to sell the car, and in that time, I will have the paint buffed and pics updated for the new owner!! Everything in the car works, the air is cold, it has a CD player, it has power windows and door locks, the interior is clean with only 2 spots of wear, and its one slick car!
