1983 BUICK RIVIERA
CONVERTIBLE
BURGUNDY/BURGUNDY LEATHER/WHITE TOP
This car was owned by a retired couple in Sarasota, Florida. It was always properly maintained and garage kept. It has been stored for the past several years (although their daughter started it and drove it around the block occasionally). The estate is being closed out and now the car is for sale. I am a family friend who has been asked to list the car on ebay for bids. I have driven the car and it runs fine. The A/C blows cool, not cold, so it could probably use a charge, but at least it works. The tires are good and the top is in such good shape, I almost think it has been replaced but the daughter doesn't remember it ever having been done so. The convertible boot is also in excellent condition. There is a small stitching separation in the driver seat back and the plastic(?) filler between the body and the bumpers is deteriorating, so you'd probably want to replace that. The good news is that this is a neat classic cruiser in great shape without a lot of dings or rust and could easily be made to look like new. "Experts" tell me the car is worth between $6000 and $12,000, but who knows, that is up to you.
