1954 Buick Skylark Convertible
There were only 836 Buick Skylarks produced in 1954. They were factory optioned with leather interior, full power equipment, special ornamentation, open wheel wells, and Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels. You are looking at at an original, unrestored example. This car has been in storage the past 23 years. It is a true survivor car, originally out of California. The car was purchased out of Arizona approximately 25 years ago. This is the 1st time offering this car for public sale. Truly a survivor, with the exception of one repaint of Condor yellow and a new black top. This car boasts the original drivetrain and interior. This car still sits on the original Kelsey Hayes wire wheels. A short production of fewer than 836 cars, very few of these one year bodied Buick Skylark convertibles exist today. This car is optioned with power steering, power brakes, power windows, and the power top which was recently replaced.
Close inspection of this car confirm it to have always been a dry climate example. The undercarriage is exceptionally clean and original. This is a rust free car, only slight surface rust on the undercarriage. The original undercoating is intact as well as the grease on the rear end. We have extensively photographed the underside in original condition, but will detail and clean all grime and grease for the new owner. The flooring is excellent as is the frame and original floor braces. The engine compartment shows undercoating on the firewall area. The original V8 shows a past cosmetic touch-up, runs well. The original breather and valve covers are intact and solid. The automatic transmission shifts as it should too. This is a very unique car indeed. When on a vehicle lift, you can inspect the original drain holes underneath the doors, which are in excellent condition. The Condor yellow finish was painted many years ago and shows patina.
The original interior is beautiful. All original brightwork and upholstey shine in this car. The seating is original light yellow and black. Through the years, the light yellow has faded to white. There no rips or damage on this vintage seats. The top boot is the original that came with the car. The dash retains excellent original gauges and controls. All of the glass on this car is original and nice.

Deposit
The successful high bidder will submit a 20% deposit within 48 hours of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle.
Tax Title and License
We are a licensed, bonded Texas dealership. It is required that Texas residents pay sales tax and registration. This winning bidder is responsible for taxes in his/her state. We do require payment in full before vehicle is to leave our warehouse.
Payment of Balance Due
The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due within 5 business days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.
Shipping
We can assist you in acquiring a reputable national or international shipper. Shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer, however we will continue to provide storage until the vehicle is picked up. Call or email for details.

Mileage
According to Federal Law all cars over 10 years old are sold as mileage exempt. The mileage stated on the car is read from the mileage showing on the odometer only. Unless stated that mileage is documented we can only go by what is on the odometer of the car and state as such.
Notice to Bidders
We reserve the right to cancel all bids and end an auction early should the vehicle no longer be available for sale.
Negative Feedback Bidders
We do not allow bidding from negative feedback bidders. New bidders with zero to 5 feedback rating should email us with phone return phone number or call us prior to bidding.
Non-Paying Bidder
If the deposit is not received within 48 hours of the close of auction or if the balance is not paid in full within 5 business days following the close of auction, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer and leave negative feedback for the non paying winner.
