| 1967 is thought by many to be the most refined example of an already sleek design.Unarguably.Although it's really about the whole auto. One thinks big Buick equals big motor, quiet body, soft ride, better than average cabin audio for it's time. Yup, all true! However refined status and stats go deeper on this one. It relates to fine AND fast, quiet AND totally identifiable sounds to anyone who is supposed to know how to listen for it.A wolf in black-tie kind of thing. That is what I had been looking for, a car that was a subtle screamer.---get this---and mostly because I had known THIS Pasadena car as a child, and admired it so much.Although it was white from the factory, I couldn't get to the forefront fast enough when this car came to sale in 1994. It came by way of a nephew, having sat in his garage for a short time. So technically I'm the third owner, however, I'm the second, really.I had it repainted a near concours proper black. Yes, maybe shouldn't have (it did not need to be). Yes for the purist it's points off, ---MAYBE.What should delight the buyer is that it is real. Always stored in truly climate controlled circumstance. Always maintained by certified mechanics. It is fine. It is mechanically strong. It is a well optioned, very fine example of the breed.THE ONLY REASON I will sell is that I was lucky enough to find another of the same year, although an extremely rare GS export edition, yes, in the coveted black/black bucket seat attire from the factory.
