DESCRIPTION
Unlike ay other 4-door Buick, the new Roadmaster Convertible Phaeton, Model 80-C, used doors that all opened from the trailing edge. In addition, it was the only Roadmaster that had sidemounts as standard equipment. In addition, it was the only Roadmaster that had sidemounts as standard equipment. The 1937 Buick Roadmaster used the trunk back design. It cost $1,856 and weighed 4,214 pounds. Buick produced 1,040 for domestic sales and 115 for export. The center posts were removable when the top and windows were lowered.

The example on offer here received a comprehensive restoration several years ago. Presented in a deep burgundy with tan leater interior and matching tan cloth top and boot. It is equipped with a three speed transmission, radio and clock. It has been carefully preserved since restoration. We believe the car to be in excellent condition and believe it has not been shown since it’s restoration. That presents a particularly gratifying opportunity for prospective purchasers who will be able to immediately begin to show and tour this rare and very special 1937 Buick Series 80-C Convertible Sedan
