This is an original numbers matching Series 60 Special. Less than 19,000 were built in 1951. It is a two owner car that was originally sold in Virginia in 1951. It has the original Virginia Title document and the build sheet from Cadillac. (See pictures.) The car has 47,000 miles on it, as the car shows! I also have a set of 1951 NY state plates for the car which we used when the car was displayed in shows.
The car has a 331 cu. in. engine that was professionally rebuilt along with the interior in 2003. The car was completely and professionally repainted in 2004 which also is shown in these pictures. Driven less than 1500 miles since restoration. We have won many trophies at local shows in our area because this car is a real head turner! We have been told that pictures do not do this car the justice it deserves.
It has always been garaged and was a solid car with no rust before the restoration. The tires are brand new and are period correct 4 inch white walls as is the interior. A lot of time and considerable expense was put into this project which makes the car a lot of fun and very dependable. The car runs and drives like a new car and can be driven anywhere. Just turn the key and go.
