| Here we have for auction a great restoration project, a 1938 Cadillac convertible. This auction is relisted , due to a non paying bidder. This is a really RARE car. There are only 4 others known to exist out of 110 made. This is a model 65 4-door convertible with a V8 engine. When restored, this car would be valued at $100,000 or more. I have included a picture below of what this car should look like when finished (blue car in photo). This car is not for the faint at heart. It needs a full restoration, and I truly don't have time to do it myself. I have too many other car projects already!! In 1976, the car was completely taken apart, and then everything was stored indoors except the engine and the frame. The engine was covered, and is 100% complete. The frame, on the other hand, has significant rust from sitting outside. The restoration of this car would be much easier with a donor frame, which are available. (I have contacts right now for three that are currently for sale.) There are only a couple of things missing from this car: a set of rear doors, and the trunk lid.
