I am listing this 1966 Cadillac Convertible for a friend of mine in SAN DIEGO, CA. Car is located in SAN DIEGO,CA. I am currently here on vacation. He is selling this car as he is now in his 80’s and is downsizing. This is a rust free CA car that has been maintained well all its life. This car has always been kept in a garage and was sold new in San Diego. This car has Tilt and telescoping wheel, AM/FM, A/C, power windows, power vents, rear air shocks, and power seat. The car comes with many extra parts bumpers, power booster, tail lights, fender skirt, front wheel trim, window motors, hubcaps, grill, power steering pump, original radio, chrome trim and many more parts. The water pump was replaced in December. The whole front end including, front-end kit (all bushing), center link, pitman arm and steering gear were replaced on 10/06. The drive shaft was completely rebuilt. The cost of the brakes, front end and water pump were more than $3,000. The top was put on the car and it was painted a year ago. The engine, transmission, alternator, starter, and many other things were rebuilt 56,000 miles ago at the cost of 3,035. The interior was redone in vinyl. The brakes and master cylinder were redone a couple months ago. The climate control is not working properly. The smog pump is disconnected but there are 2 good spares. This is not a perfect show car but it is a very well maintained car. There is a couple of cracks in the dash and some small dings in the chrome. The bumpers could use rechroming. The lines in the rear bumper panels is a reflection. There is no rust in the trunk. This car needs someone to care for it as much as my friend has. A deposit of $1,000 is required within 24 hours of the close of auction and is non-refundable. Car has original Black plates and registration is current.
