This Monte Carlo is in excellent condition and is mostly
original. It still has the original 305 4 barrel in it. This car
has been well taken care of it's whole life. I have owned the car
since September 2002. At that time it had 67,000 miles on the
odometer. It now has 68,900. At some point in time the car
was repainted. Even the aluminum wheels had extra care given to
them. These wheels from the factory were not clear coated like
wheels today. Every other "checkerboard" was painted white to
match the car then the wheel was clear coated. (See pic). I added
the Aero coupe SS spoiler after I bought the car. I have no
problem with this car. It starts, drives, and stops as it
should. On nice days I will drive it around town or to my work
which is 50 miles round trip on the interstate.
As for the care of this car since I've had it, it has always been
garaged, never driven in the rain or in winter weather or even
when there is salt on the roads. Car has new Firestone Firehawk
Indy 500 tires put on last fall (235/60R14), water pump, radiator,
battery, all belts and front shocks. Body and frame are very
solid and in excellent condition. It also has the SS dual exhaust with
turbo mufflers. I believe the pictures will tell all. It is a CL
edition Monte which means it has the nice pillow type seats that look
like what is found in the Brougham Oldsmobile's. It has a driver
side power seat, remote mirrors, power windows and door locks.
Tilt wheel, gauges instead of "idiot lights", tinted windows (tint is in excellent condition), cruise (works). Interior is in excellent condition. No burns, tears or wear marks. Dash is also in excellent condition, no cracks or splits. Body is very sound. You can see from the picture of the trunk lid there is no rust. This is an area that typically will show any corrosion. Inside the trunk (floor and quarter panels) is another area that will usually show rust.
The car is located just east of Indianapolis Indiana. The car will
need to be picked up from this location unless other arrangement can be
made. Title shows that the odometer is correct and is not exempt.
