| I am selling a 1976 El Camino Sundowner. I bought it 2 yrs ago with the intention of fixing it up and driving it but I just don't have the time or space. It is a project car that need work. It has a 350 that does run although a tune up and possibly a new carb would help it run alot better. The car has 2 SS emblems on it but I don't know how to verify if it really is an SS. The transmission shifts fine and the brakes are a little soft. The body has a few bad spots that need to be fixed both floor pans, both quarter panels, and possibly both fenders. However, from what I can tell the bed is still in good shape and the tailgate does still work. The hood does not close all of the way due to a broken bolt on one of its hinges, it will still latch. Also it is missing most of its exhaust. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. Also I would plan on trailering this car home. I drove it from tennessee to Illinois without any problems but I can't guarantee that it would make to your destination. |
