This is a 1976 Chevrolet Malibu 2 door with 37,532 ACTUAL miles. It was bought new by an older man who ordered it with the 250 6 cylinder engine and the three speed column shift manual transmission. He lived back in the woods and did not drive much. So it also has no A/C, and no Radio.
Mechanical
Car runs and drives quite good but the brakes are not working right now. [The car sat for a few years now.] So it probably should not be driven home. I have some keystone wheels on it because the tires were very bad. The original rims and hub caps and the tire chains that he had for it are in the trunk. Jack and lug wrench are there but there is not a spare tire.
Body...... The glass is all good. Front bumper,header and grille assembly, and hood are all in good shape. The doors are both solid and are just starting to show signs of rust at the bottom inner seams. Trunk lid and Taillight header are good. The rear bumper has a couple of dings and one small surface rust spot. Both rear quarter panels are bad. The back end of both front fenders are also bad. There is a large dent in the drivers rear quarter from an irate cow one day.
Frame.....The frame and the floor pans both appear to be solid.
Interior.....The carpet and head liner both have mouse damage. Seats are in good shape. The glove box is missing the latch. The top trim piece is missing on the drivers door panel. The rear deck cover is missing most of the finish but is useable with some paint or covering.
