Up for auction is a
1970 Nova SS. It has:
- Original numbers matching 350.
- Muncie 4 speed. I believe the engine code says it was
suppose to be a Muncie 3 speed.
- 3.31 open 12 bolt rear end.
- VIN reads=114270W114473.
- Engine code=10w11447310820CNJ.
- Trans=3925660PQK28A (the Q might be a O).
- Rear end=CBM0829G1 ( the
G might be a 6).
- The Trim Tag says that it came with a (custom) bench
seat and cranberry red paint.
The body has rust. It had a black vinyl
top and there is rust around the windshield and back sail panels. I do
not know if the engine runs, but it will turn over. It had been sitting for many years in an
enclosed trailer before I got it. I started tearing it apart so some of the pictures are before and after, but i still have all the parts that were salvageable. The headliner was ruined so it is gone. The carpet is gone. It had bucket seats from maybe a Chevelle. The back seat is in good shape and is original. The dash has a crack in the pad. It has the original stereo still in it. The driver's side door panel was shot, but the passenger side isn't too bad. The floor pans and trunk
have some holes. The quarters were replaced at
some point, but are only half panels. The rear bumper is good. The
taillight panel is bad where the SS emblem was. All the glass is
perfect. Power front disc brakes. I began tearing it down but circumstances force me to get
rid of it. The hood, right front fender, and drivers door were all sanded to bare metal and they left it that way. So they are pitted. This is a great project car. Buyer is responsible for pick up within 10
days. Pick -up only. I will not ship. I
