Offered here, is a very clean 1979 El Camino. This car is very sharp and an excellent driver. The owner states this has been his daily driver. The car has been trouble-free, never failed and a pleasure to drive. The car runs, shifts and drives great. The car has a new 350ci GM Crate Motor installed with only 5,000 miles. The engine invoice alone for the engine was $4,444.83. (All invoices come with this sale). Headman Headers have been installed with a new exhaust system. The car sports new brakes plus has seat belts. A Kenwood CD w/remote is included. New BF Goodrich Tires have been installed w/Chevy Rallye wheels. This car is not a show car, but is one, good-looking driver.
Repairs that need attention: The air conditioning needs to be charged.... the compressor works. You can see in the photos that the paint is chipping on the rubber between the front bumper and the body on both sides of the vehicle. Many El Caminos of this year seem to have this problem. Cracks were noticed on the front hood air scoop. (see photos).
If you are seeking a sharp El Camino at a fair price, I believe this is the vehicle you have been searching for. Make it yours.
