Up for bid is a 1972 Chevrolet C10 Pickup Truck. This truck has REAL patina that everyone is looking for. It is bone stock and runs/drives/stops great. This would make a cool shop truck or rat rod. Here's the details:
Drivetrain:
The engine is the original 250 6-cylinder backed by a 3 speed column shift trans. The engine runs very strong and purs like a kitten. The trans shifts good, no wierd noises. The manual Disc brakes stop great. Here is a list of the new parts with less than 100 miles on them:
Clutch kit
Reman. Carburator
Cap, Rotor, Point set, Wires, Spark Plugs, Air Filter, Fuel Filter
New Stock Exhaust System
Fresh oil change
Rear Brakes Shoes, Drums, Wheel Cylinders, Brake Hose
Body:
This truck has very little rust compared to other trucks of this age. The body is very straight and solid with the exception of these few places:
Drivers cab corner has a little rust, passengers cab corner looks to be solid. There is a little rust on both rear wheel lips. The passengers front fender has a dent and rust spot on the lower front. The cab mount braces have the usual rust and the floors look solid. There is a hole in the drivers floor pan just below the gas pedal. It looks like the previous owners heal wore through the floor. When driving, your right heal fits perfectly in the hole.
As you can see, the paint has that perfect weathered look. The bed is one of the nicest I have ever seen on an old truck. The inside is virturally dent free. I had a new windshield and seal installed a few weeks ago and all the other glass looks good.
Interior:
As you can see, the interior needs an overall restoration. The truck came with factory add on A/C. Everything looks to be in place but I don't think it works. All the gauges work like they should.
Overall this is a good, original old truck. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
