I am the original owner
of this 1978 Silver Anniversary Corvette. I bought it new from a
Chevrolet dealership in KY in '78. Everything on this car is completely
original, including paint and tires. It has only 11,703 miles
(see picture of odometer). It has only been driven by non-smoking
adults. It has never been wrecked or abused in any way.
This car has been stored in my carport. Like most classic Corvettes,
the original paint has weathered in some places. There is a slight oil
leak, as is to be expected with a car not used for so long. The car
runs and drives like NEW.
The red interior, including the leather and carpet, are in excellent
condition. The car has an 8-track player. The auction includes the
original paperwork (owner's manual, window sticker, etc.) that came
with the car. Car comes with two sets of tops: T-tops and glass moon roofs. This classic car and will only increase in value over
time.
