1970 Chevelle Malibu Sedan – 2nd Owner- 36,075 miles – No Reserve
You are bidding on a 1970 Chevelle Malibu sedan with 36,075 original miles. I am the 2nd owner and have put approx 3000 miles on it over the past 2.5 years. The car is in very good condition and is reliable to drive anywhere. It was built in Atlanta, Georgia and delivered to Dart Chevrolet in Greenville, Pennsylvania. The original owner took delivery on July 23, 1970. Included with the car are the Protecto Plate, original key knock outs and build sheet.
It has a 307 V8 engine with 350 turbo automatic transmission, power steering, windshield antenna and tinted windows. The car is dark blue with blue interior. It was rust proofed when new, but still managed to rust in the normal Chevelle areas. The rust was repaired and entire car repainted the original color approx 7 years ago. The paint still looks nice, but has some dings and imperfections where the rust was repaired. The dash and pad are in excellent condition and the door buzzer still works. It has the original AM radio, but sounds like the speaker is bad. The interior overall is in good condition; however, the seat fabric and rear deck is deteriorating from age and the sun. The trunk is mostly solid and includes the original spare tire and jack. The car has 15”X7” Rally Wheels with Good Year white letter tires and new center caps.
I regularly drive the car in nice weather. It always starts and runs well. I would be comfortable driving it anywhere. Everything works except the cigarette lighter and windshield washer. There is a small oil leak, but nothing serious or out of the ordinary for a car this age. The car is a pleasure to drive and handles well. It receives many compliments wherever it goes.
Potential buyers are encouraged to schedule an appointment to inspect the car. Please be sure to ask any questions prior to bidding. Vehicle is being sold “as is” with no warranty.
