1972 Chevy C20 Cheyenne 4X4
I have had this truck for many years. I began the restoration a bit over a year ago. I had it drivable last summer and put about 300 miles on it. I have put about 100 miles on it this spring. I am in no hurry to sell and am not starving just seeing what’s out there. I would consider trades or part trades. I like Muscle cars, Dually extra cab trucks, Jeeps, ATV’s. etc. Contact me and we can talk. I had no plans of selling at this time but the listing fees are waived for the month so here we go.
Engine: 454 BBC, about 20K on rebuild. This is a very strong running engine. It has all new internals, mild cam, Air Gap intake, Holley 3310 750 with Proform main body. K&N filter. Nice turn key engine that I would drive anywhere.
Interior: Completely redone with new seat cover, carpet, door panels, dash pad, arm rests, Tach cluster, glove box, etc.
Exterior: New paint, cowl hood, New windshield and all rubber in and out. Hand picked side, wing, and rear glass. Rear glass has been tinted. New clear markers, front turns and rear turn lenses. Has all led bulbs except front turns. Rear roll pan welded in place. Stake pockets welded smooth. Small amount of rust in rockers and one front fender repaired. New front, triple chrome bumper. New lower wood grain trim. New door handles, mirrors, etc, etc.
Running gear: BFG 33 12.50 16.5 mud terrains with less than 5K miles. Ultra polished type 64 wheels. 4.11 gears, TH350 trans, 205 transfer case. Receiver hitch tucked into the frame and exposed under the rear plate. New exhaust with new long 4in chrome tips. New steering box and alignment. 4 in Rancho lift with RS5000 shocks.
There are still a couple things that need to be done. I can do them if the truck sells or you can do them if you like. Needs fuel tank sender. Needs spray in bed liner. Right turn signal in the front is intermittent, today it does not work. Trans has a slow leak. Besides that the sky is the limit as to what you would like to do. Everything else works and is in good condition.
I built this truck as a driver. With a little detail and finish work it would show well at local shows. It is not flawless, the inside of the bed is a bit wavy and dented. That’s why I would recommend a spray in liner. The engine needs a little cleaning and detailing to look perfect. The under side could use some more cleaning and paint to be real nice. Other than a few details, this truck gets a lot of attention, more than any $45000 truck you can drive off the lot.
I am listing this to the best of my abilities and would recommend a private inspection at your expense or a personal viewing. This truck is being sold in as is condition. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I expect a $500.00 pay pal deposit within 48 hours from the end of auction. I expect full payment in cash or other agreed on method within seven days. If the buyer backs out the deposit will not be refunded.
