| Up for auction is a 1961 CHEVROLET IMPALA. It is a ONE OWNER car. The car belonged to my friends mother, she bought it BRAND NEW. Unfortunately she recently past away and the car had been in the garage since 1997. It has some rust spots. The engine is a 283 cubic inch, with an Automatic Power Glide Transmission. It has it's original interior and upholstery on the seats (See picture 11) his mom put on seat covers since she bought it (See picture 15). Everything works on the car (horn, signals, heater, wipers) except for the clock and the radio. The radio powers on but there is no sound. We cleaned the carburetor and added new points and the condenser and it started right up. It has 106,000 miles on it and the engine HAS NEVER been repaired. It will be needing new window seal and new carpeting.The car is BEING SOLD AS IS AND WINNER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PICK UP OR SHIPPING ARRANGMENTS.
