This 1969 numbers matching 396/Turbo 400 SS with the original 12 bolt posi Chevelle. Same owner for last 16 years and has always been an AZ car since its original creation in Kansas. Before you ask, it is missing the passenger side tail light lense but I have two new ones in the mail from Year One. I have a 5 year old that had scrached it up when they were both out of the car. They have been on back order, but they do have it now and it is in the mail. Now back to the car, this car is very fast and reliable. The restoration has 5k miles on it and it does not nor has it leaked or burned a drop of any fluid. The interior is flawless and even still smells like glue. The car has no rust as you can see in the photos the trunk is gorgeous and ALL OF THE SHEET METAL IS ORIGINAL. This car has been a very good friend for the last 16 years and I would like it to go to a loving home. The car is very straight and all the wiring under the dash is original including the harness on the fire wall. The car has not been molested by a hacker and the stereo in the dash is still a two knob stereo and it has never been cut to fit a CD or more modern system. The dash, carpet and seats are in excellent condition as well as the gauges and the glass on the gauges. The bumpers, trim and insignias are in beautiful condition. The grills on the original SS hood are perfect. The glass is excellent and the drip rails and the window trim areas are all free of any rust or weathering. I am a nonsmoker and the headliner is perfect as well as the interior light. The Paint is a gorgeous original Chevy blue and the correct SS stripe was also replaced after paint. All the rubber seals on the car are in great condition. Tires are in new condition. The wheels are Chevy Rally wheels with the “Flat” Chevy caps. Every gauge works including the clock. The Motor is an Extremely Strong, Violent and reliable. The 396 that has a nice cam, 750 Holley carb, Weiand Intake and is bolted the original but completely rebuilt turbo 400. The Rear-end is the original but also fully rebuilt 12 bolt posi. The motor was professional built and blue printed. The instructions to the builders were fast but solid. Its not stroked out and running massive compression, but it was built to be fast, not fragile and made reliable, IT IS! The motor was built by Taylor Hot Rods and they have been in business for forty years. Taylor Hot Rods are not a franchise but a family business of hot rodders from the father to the two sons and have a massive reputation to uphold and they have. This car is very fast and solid in all aspects. Please feel confident in your purchase of this car, it is solid, straight and will be missed dearly. The car is in almost stock condition with exception to the motor modifications. Feel free to ask any questions and I get my emails to my cell phone so my response time is quick.
