1979 Chevrolet Z28 with 42703 mileage,completely original,one owner,original Massachusetts Title,has all paperwork including build sheet,window sticker,dealer order sheets,warranty books,manuals,and 1979 Camaro catalog. Original tires still on car(NO GOOD)with rally wheels, trim rings and center caps(Not shown in pictures). Has matching numbers 350 motor,transmission, and G80 option 3:42 gear ratio positraction rear end.Color is Brite Blue with Lite Blue interior. Has Crager rear window louver with key lock. Has power windows,locks A/C(not working but complete)and rear window defroster. Beautiful Z28 when new. Motor runs strong no leaks,transmission shifts fine no leaks,and exhaust needs some work but is not loud. Has a fuel leak coming from top of tank not sure if it is the lines or the seal around the sending unit. Has new brake lines installed and brakes. Body of car is very solid,( Was rust proofed when new and actually saved this car)original paint faded,rust free rear quarters,trunk is excellent,little rust on bottom of doors,frame is solid,small dent passenger rear quarter and front fender,front spoiler is off the car but does come with it and is in rough shape but not destroyed may be reusable. Interior is not bad,dash board is mint with original AM/FM 8 track,(a few 8tracks included)tach doesnt work or the clock but comes with a guage cluster to replace if needed,carpet is no good dirty,driver seat has a tear along side,all other seats very good shape,rear panels need replacement dried out,and door panels are useable,headliner is down but can be reuseable not torn. This Z28 is a one owner who unfortunately did not take very good care of it. It was seldom driven(42703 ORIGINAL MILES) and stored outside for a few years. It was maintained mechanically to drive but not properly stored. This is a perfect candidate to be restored or just driven with a little more work. I aquired the car this week on 5-4-08 and I am willing to sell for a very reasonable price. The NADA is $5115.00 in low retail, my reserve is much lower to realistically sell this Z28.
