Vehicle Description

Are you looking for a way to spend some of your government refund check?? Then I have just the truck for you!! This S10 runs 12.30's in the quarter mile just like you see it. However, the auction is for the truck with a 305 in it instead of the 383. If you want the 383 motor, it will cost you an extra $2000. The slicks on the rear do not go either. It will have regular street tires that match the front. They are in good shape, just not on the truck when the pictures were taken. For an extra $350, you can have the slicks. The truck was originally white, but it was painted blue at the local Vocational school. It looks good from far away, but when you get up close, it is not perfect. There is some orange peel here and there, and lots of scratches, but this is still a pretty good looking truck. There are dents in the hood, and it is pinned, there is no latch assembly on it. The cowl panel is gone also. The interior is pretty decent when cleaned up. There is no radio in it. The auction will include everything you see in the pictures, except the motor will be a 305, which is perfectly good, instead of the race motor that is in it, and the MSD ignition system will be replaced with a brand new HEI Distributor. The truck will be running, but will need an exhaust to be drivable. Currently it is just raced, so there is nothing more than open headers on it. The rear end has a new auburn posi carrier with new 4:56 richmond gears. The brakes are good, but the brake lines need bled. Any questions please feel free to ask. Thank you!

In case anyone is interested in the 383 motor that is in the truck now, it has a scat crank, 5.7" rods, DART heads, Barry Grant Carb, MSD Distributor and 6AL Box, 525 lift cam with 295 (or so) duration, rollertip rockers, Mellings High Volume Oil pump, and more.
