1965 Chevrolet Impala 2 Door Coupe No reserve Would make a great SS clone. Purchased from 2nd owner (who had it since 1966) who said it has never been in a wreck. Car has been sitting up for quite a while outside but still in relatively good shape. The hood has rust holes through it as well as some rust around the driver's side rear quarter, otherwise surface rust. Very solid car as can be seen. Floors are not rotten but may be weak in places, trunk needs a new pan. Car has 283 V-8 (should be the original according to the owner) but it had been taken apart years ago. Heads, intake, 2BBL carb, air cleaner, manifolds, etc... are still present as seen in the pictures. Block still mounted to 3 speed (on the column) manual transmission. Car rolls freely when in neutral or clutch engaged but brake pedal is frozen. Interior looks original and had been occupied by a few mice. Seat belts are chewed in places along with upholstery. Original radio, steering wheel, and gauges. Some pitting on a few pieces of chrome and others are fine. Car comes with an entire set of replacement glass (front windshield in car is cracked) and door handles. I think all the exterior chrome is present but not for certain. Alabama only requires a bill of sale for pre-1975 cars so that is all that is going to be provided. Save this car from getting parted out because this is the only time it will be listed whole. $500.00 deposit required within 3 days of auction ending, entire balance within 10 days of auction ending. Upon further examination, there is some rust under the crome trim leading from the tire to the bumper (inside bottom edge of trunk pan). It could also probably under the chrome trim leading up and down each side of the car but I am not going to pull the trim off to determine the extent. Email questions to kcarter50@juno.com |
