1967 Chevy II Nova two door sedan
Rust free New Mexico car. Body is 100% rust free, in primer and ready for paint. Professionally prepped by Way Cool Customs in Pittsfield, IL. Ran out of money before getting it painted. Only rust in floor is in front wheel well area beneath where a previous owner had a roll bar mount plate, see photos. Mount plate is still there, solidly welded to the floor, roll bar has been cut out. I was going to clean this area up and put undercoating over it but decided to sell and didn’t want to look like was covering something up. The rest of the floor is great. Little bit of surface rust in the trunk but very solid. Same deal, was going to paint the trunk but didn’t want to look like was covering something up. Pretty much entire interior needs redone. Has original back seat in good shape, do not have original front seat, has two racing buckets. Headliner, dash pad and rear view mirror are gone, door panels are there but need redone. Door handles, window cranks, etc are all there. Has a Grant steering wheel and Pioneer AM/FM/CD player.
Car is very streetable, I drive it to work. Set up for drag racing in Sportsman class, runs 8.30s at 85 mph in 1/8 mile with street tires and mufflers. Goes straight and runs strong.
Engine is a .030 over 350 with flat top pistons.
Comp Cams 286H cam and Crane 1.6 roller rockers give it a real nice lope but plenty tame for street driving.
461 heads with 2.02/1.60 valves and mild porting, screw in studs and guide plates.
