This car was a true rider! I have spent most of my time getting the engine and exhaust system to perform above average. The engine has been rebuilt with modifications. I installed black ceramic Holley Hooker Performance Exhaust Headers. These go straight back with no catalytic converter. They go directly to Magna Flow Mufflers. I also installed a Holley Wieland Intake Manifold to add a Holley 4 bbl Street Avenger 770CFM with electric choke and secondary vaccum. To add efficiency I also added a MSD Chevy Billet GM Distributor with HEI. This baby can purr!! (And she’s fuel efficient!!) the car looks good.
I made the mistake of parking the car on a busy street and she was rammed by a drunk driver. The damage was confined to passenger side quarter panel. No noticeable frame damage, but the panel is worthless. JC Whitney has quarters for $250. I am no good at welding so I think it’s time to pass the car on. The top is in good condition, but stopped working after the accident. The car still runs perfect.
The interior is nice with the exception of a cut in the front seat. This car is perfect for someone that can do the changes themselves. Not a lot of troubleshooting needed, just cut and dry fixes. I can take some additional pictures if needed.
