You are bidding in a very well maintained 1983 "SHORT BED", Custom Deluxe, 4-wheel drive Chevrolet. The truck has a 350 V-8 motor, with a 350 Turbo Transmission. It's got a Eldebrock aluminum intake, Quadrajet 4 barrel carb, (I have a fairly new Eldelbrok 650 carb that goes to the new owner.) and Warn hubs. The exhaust is dual Thrush Glasspacks and I also have some knock-off flowmasters that I will throw in as well. ( I am not a motor head by any means, so excuse me if I don't list everything in garage lingo.) The transmission has about 5000 miles on it. The motor has around 37,000 miles on it and was professionally installed about one month ago. With the new motor I had a new water pump, heater, and new wiring put in. I have owned the truck for 3 years now and am not crazy about selling it, but a growing family will make a man do things that he wouldn't normally do. This truck has not been down a gravel road, in the mud or used to pull a trailer for about the last 8 years. ( I know the previous owner.) What I am trying to say is that this truck has been treated very, very, very well. As far as what is wrong with the truck, it could probably use some tires, it could use a new U-joint or two, and other than that there are two spots on the truck that you can see in the pictures. The tailgate has a crease at the top, but I have a new one thais in black primer that goes with the truck as well. The dash has one hole where the factory speakers use to go, and the seat has a tear on the side of it on the drivers side that you can also see these in the pictures. The speedometer cable was not hooked up when I bought the truck, so it is not the actual milage, but I would say that it is pretty close. This would make someone a great project truck considering 3/4 of the work is already done for you. If I didn't hit on something that you would like to know about just drop me a e-mail and include the best phone number to reach you at. Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!! I reserve the right to end this auction at any time.
