1967 chevelle ss,This is a real 138 car,It has all original sheet metal,Has the original muncie 4 speed transmission and 12 bolt rear end,The factory numbers are still on the top of the quarter panels in the trunk.I was told that this car came with a 375 hp 396,But now has a 1970 LS-5 454 corvette engine Suffix code (cgw) The original engine was removed when the owner was home on leave from Viet Nam, He never returned home after going back, so his family sold the car to a guy who owned it for about 30 years and he sold it to the guy I got it from,He said the car was repainted one time and that it was about 10 years ago,The paint job still looks very very nice and is super straight, only a few spots that you have to look for to see,The bumpers and the chrome all look like new,The seats and carpet are very nice and I think the carpet was replaced at one time,All the gauges work and the car drives very good,It shifts great in all gears,It starts up with just a touch of the key and runs real smooth,It is a sleeper ,I have got into it a few times and it is a hand full,It will fly ,has the soft mickey thompson tires on rear and they will not hold the car,This car has not been abused just enjoyed,And not alot,The guy I got it from said he had only driven it about ten or twelve times in the last four years,He always kept it in the garage,infact I have known him for about 30 years and did not know he had it,It is a beautiful car and if it did have the 375 hp 396 from the factory it is RARE RARE they only made 612 with that engine,But its long gone now so it really dont matter,Runs super with the 454 corvette engine,I may sell the car before the auction ends, I for got the wheels are Billet specialtys ,its not perfect but its not 50 grand either,Any questions call me @ 614-496-1095 Cash only unless other arrangments are made,I reserve the right to end auction early
