Vehicle Description

This auction is for a 1981 Camaro that would be an excellent project. It doesn't appear to have been chopped up and modified as so many have. The car does run but it could use a tune up. It has sat for somewhere around 2-3 years. The car does fire right up. I am not sure if it has a 305, 350, or a 400 engine. I am a Mopar guy. It has an automatic transmission. It would take very little to get it road worthy. The brakes seem to work well in the very little I have drove it. The power steering works well also. I would think a set of plugs, maybe wires and a carb kit you would have a good running car for the money. The body needs a little rust repair. It is way better than than the average Camaro of this vintage. It has some dents that would be easy repairs. The interior does not have carpeting. It was taken out so it did not collect water under it and rot the floor out. The drivers side seat needs a clip on it where it hinges. The seat covers are decent. The drivers side has a split in it but would be fairly inexpensive to have repaired. The dash has a couple cracks. The car has a tilt wheel steering column. I have a corvette 350 with 64,000 miles on it and a set of the late 70's early 80's aluminum slotted wheels that are available for additional cost if the buyers wishes to purchase seperately. I have an open title from the last owner that was renewed yesterday that will be transfered to the new buyer. This would be an excellent project car that appears very solid. Parts for these cars are affordable also. Please let me know if you have any questions. I will do my best to answer them. I might be interested in a trade? Muscle car parts, etc.... This car needs to go. I need the room! Thanks alot!
