Up for sale/auction is my 1963 Chevy Corvair. I got the car in October of last year in a trade but now need to let it go to take care of some other priorities. The car is a 2 door model and I believe it to be a 700 model if I remember right. For a 45 year old car it is in reallt good shape. The odometer reads less than 60,000 miles that look origional to me but I have no way to confirm this. The car has a couple little bumps and bruises but nothing serious. It runs, drives and stops nice. The only thing I can think of that it would need is carpeting. The radio in not installed in the car but is included, in its place are 3 extra guages(they are not hooked up). The floors are really solid in the car and with there not being any carpet in the car you can see this. The trunk and engine compartment are real solid as well. The heat works great!! There are some spare parts in the trunk that go with the car. Of course thar car has the air cooled 6 cylinder motor and the 4 speed manual transmission. If you have any other questions feel free to contact me. The car does have a good OH title in my name.
I have decided t cut out all the crap with the auction and start the bidding out at what I need to get for the car, so if you bid on it it is yours. It is also advertised other places so I reserve the right to end the auction early. I have lowered the price of the car to be more in line with what the current rate for a Corvair in this condition would sell for. This will be the lst time I will list this.
Now for the other details. The car must be picked where it sits, I can help with deliviery depending on where you are located. Please contact me first to arrange this before the auction ends, my truck is diesel and I would have to rent a trailer so it will not be exactly cheap. The car must be payed for before it leaves here. For shipping it must also be paid for before leaving here. The car needs to be picked up within 30 days of the end of the auction. I want a $200 non refundable deposit through paypal within 24 hours. The balance is due within 7 days from the end of the auction. If you send the payment postal money order is the preferred form of payment. Cash is also preferred if you wish to pay when you pick the car up. I will not accept payment for any amount higher than the winning bid to give the balance to your shipper. If you can not go by these requests please do not bid. Feel free to ask any questions.
