CHEVROLET CORVETTE 1986 RED AUTOMATIC PROJECT CAR VETTE. This car runs out good, mostly cosmetic work needed. Also comes with car cover. You can drive as is or will make a nice project car. This is not a show car, needs work. Most parts needed to fix are included, to the best of our knowledge.
Motor: idle is a little high at times, transmission shifts good - when you first put in gear it has a little jerk
Cosmetics: Clear coat coming off, carpet is is bad shape in back, interior needs cleaning, radio don't work, driver seat torn and somewhat sewn up, needs drivers side interior door panel (we have the one that was taken off, but it is warped) , window regularlator bad on drivers side-window does not roll down, power antennia does not work - stuck in up position, ac needs charge
Headlights go up and down as they should, all lights work, all windows good, tires have good tread - front and back are different sizes (wider & taller), back hatch works good. New brakes all of the way around.
Car can be driven locally, but I would suggest towing if long distance. Has not been tagged since 2005. We have driven around the house. It even has 3/4 tank of gas!
Included - but not installed! : Injectors - low mileage used, used carpet kit (in good condition), window regulator (drivers door), seat covers, shifter plate. New door top weatherstripping and for all around the doors.
We bought as a project car, but have 4 other project vehicles going so this one must go to finish the others.
New oil change, new plug wires, transmission was serviced (fluid/filter change), new antifreeze (drained and new put back w/distilled water)
