| 1951 Chrysler New Yorker . First year for 331 Hemi V8 engine. This is a nice solid rust free Florida car that I am listing for a friend. We have a clear Florida title. The car was belonged to an elderly gentleman from Florida who passed away and was purchased from his wife. It was brought North in 1998. The car needs paint and upholstery work as the original paint was baked by the sun and the headliner and carpets were ruined by mice while the car was in storage. Some of the exterior trim is pitted and the tires are old. Those are the bad things. Other than those issues the car is in remarkable condition for it's age. The odometer reads 51328, but it is unknown if this is the correct mileage. The Hemi engine runs fantastic with 50 lbs. oil pressure and has a tag on it saying it has been remanufactured. The transmission shifts fine and the overdrive works perfectly. The original radio works great and all the gauges work except for the temp gauge. Even the trunk light works. The carb and brake master cylinder have been rebuilt. The car has been registered in New Hampshire for the past couple of years and driven only in the Summer.
