Chrysler : 300 Series 1970 CHRYSLER 300 COUPE NICE CONDITION

UP FOR AUCTION IS THIS 1970 CHRYSLER 300 COUPE. Original matching #'s 440 V-8 , automatic transmission, Has power steering, power disc brakes, fresh dual exhaust 8 3/4 posi traction rear. Exhaust is leaking up front by the manifold gasket. 79,000 original miles. runs and drives awesome. The carb does run a little rich when cold but when warm it is fine. Trans shifts smooth. Car really gets up and goes for as big as it is. Some of the equipment is , gator top, tinted glass, bucket seats with console, floor shift, am-fm radio, and factory 8 trac tape (works ),pass side mirror, hideaway headlites, rear window defroster. No a/c. the body is quite solid for the year and really straight. Over the years it has had paint work and touch up. You can see the difference in the color tones here and there. Doesn't appear to have had much body repair. I did see the back side of the front fender bottoms are starting to get crispy. also the driver side rocker panel behind the molding is starting . Pass side is fine. Two small spots in the trunk pan have been fixed. Everything that i see looks to be fairly easy to take care of . Floor pans are real nice. Everything else looks very solid. Carpets were bad so they were removed and will need to be replaced. Interior is good with the exception of the drivers bucket seat that has a small area that needs repair. Head liner is good just needs to be cleaned. tires are all new. Brakes stop the car fine but brake light does come on when you apply them.Maybe some air not bled out but they feel good. Car does have it's fender tag and we have both build sheets. I would say that this is a pretty original car that has periodic repair from time to time for up keep .Would make a nice daily driver as is or you can make it nicer if you choose to. The 70 chrysler 300 coupe is still a sharp ride by todays standards and considered a luxury muscle car in every way.
