| A very straight and solid one family owned car. Bought new in California and past down to nephew when original buyer past on. Nephew moved to Oregon bringing car along, and keeping it inside of a barn. His uncle quit driving it when transmission developed a leak. Has not been driven since. No past body work has been done to this car that I can see, because it retains original factory paint, which is fading, in some places to the factory primer. There are two small dents in left rear door, and could be very easily repaired. No body rust that I can see on the outside body of the car at all. Trunk floor has some rusty scale, but doesn't appear to be through the metal. Has one small outwards bend on bottom of front bumper, where somebody must have hooked a chain to pull it. Glass is all good. Seats will need to be recovered, also carpet and headliner replaced to make the car look nice again. The hot climate it was in took a toll on the tail light lenses, but there are two more sets in the trunk. They are not new, but look like they are usable. The friend I am selling the car for, acquired the car from the nephew as payment for some logging, that he did for him. The engine, which is a 361 big block was said to be running when car was parked, but we have not tryed to start it. It retains a 2 barrel carburetor. Original hubcaps are in trunk. |
