This is my 1962 Imperial Crown, 4 door hardtop. This car was originally from Florida, is extremely clean and 100% drivable. I purchased this car from the second owner about a year ago and have enjoyed modifying and driving it ever since. It is fresh out of winter storage and I am selling it because of other projects that need completed and other cars I would like to purchase. The car has never had any body work but I believe it has been painted its original color of white. The seats have been reupholstered and it has new carpet. It also has new brakes, a new master cylinder and wheel cylinders at all four corners. The parking brake, located at the end of the transmission, has also been rebuilt. This car will be sold with all of the original components to put it back to stock if you so desire. The air conditioning has been removed for lack of cluster and a gain in horsepower. And the power brake booster has been removed to make room for the Sonoramic Long Ram induction unit the car had on it last summer. When I bought the car I changed all engine gaskets, installed a high volume high pressure oil pump, new timing chain, changed transmission fluid and filter, new 484 lift Mopar Performance camshaft, and custom fit 2" primary block hugger headers. This spring I installed a single four barrel for driveability, which is a Holley dual feed, double pump chokeless 750 cfm. The car also has super 40 series flowmaster and custom bent 2 1/2" dual exhaust all the way out the back. Mopar Performances electronic ignition kit replaced the original points and condenser. All the electrical components work, i.e. the 6 way power bench, power windows, and the seek and scan AM radio. The dash light dimmer is touchy and sometimes will only work on low. Some spots on the paint have been touched up and some spots will need touched up, but this car is rock solid. This car drives like a dream and will cruise well over interstate speeds all day long. The brights are Mercedes Halogen bulbs and amber lenses. My next steps were going to be a set of Coker bias ply tires and a taller gear set out back. This car is show ready, a blast to drive and well worth the reserve price. Thanks for looking!
