The second series 1932 CI Chryslers were extensively updated from its previous introduction. At mid year new styling changes occurred utilizing a new oval instrument board, dual split Vee Windshields, and dual cowl ventilators. Standard equipment included six wire wheels on the Convertible Sedan like the model seen here. The Convertible Sedan Six was the top model of CI series line, only 322 were built.

Some early 1931-32 CI/ CM series can be found for sale in the 90-120k range and they dont even compare to the styling or mechanical dependability of the more desirable second series. This car was very difficult for us to acquire it was previously owned by a collector in Arizona. This was a family owned vehicle with very few owners, the previous owner stated his Father bought the car from a neighbor who had owned it since new, and it was then given to him several years ago. The previous owners did have the car restored in the 90's, since restoration it has been driven very little, primarily to local shows and Chrysler club meets.

This 1932 Chrysler is one of the rarest of the rare luxury 4 seater convertible sedans. We have only uncovered one other available for sale and that car is in Europe advertised for 58,000 Euro (about 87,000 US Dollars) and it is one of the early less desirable first series. Finished in Royal blue and accented with 6 yellow wire wheels. Fitted with a matching Blue interior and tan top the vehicle is very attractive and shows beautifully. Equipped with It's original and very dependable solid lifter 223 Cubic inch inline Six with 82 Horsepower(Engine# Ci 19097) coupled to a smooth shifting 3 speed manual transmission. The power plant is in great running condition and drives excellent, it is fully capable of freeway speeds and makes this a great car for cruising or tours.

This is an extremely rare opportunity to own a pre-war classic Chrysler. Chryslers of this era offered some of the most desirable luxury cars on the market. This model was designed with luxurious styling in mind similar to the top of the line 8 cylinder Imperials.
