| You are bidding on a 1965 Chrysler Newport Town Sedan. This car is a surviver with one older repaint that is still presentable. It is a very solid car and I believe it still retains all of its original body panels. It runs great and and it goes down the highway quite smoothly. It has a 383 V8 that I believe is original. I am not sure where to check the numbers but if someone tells me I'll be glad to look. The interior is in great shape for a 43 year old car. It does have a rip on the front drivers side bench seat which I think can be repaired without replacing the entire cover. It does have a few minor surface rust spots which can be repaired without a repaint (see pictures). It also has a small dent in the rear passenger door that can be fixed by a dent specialist. There are no holes anywhere in the body. The frame is also very solid. The car brakes evenly but the pedal is stiff so I think it needs a new power booster. The heater core is bypassed so it may also need replaced. The aftermarket a/c does not work. The washer fluid container is missing. The odometer does not work and is stuck at 34749 mi. The clear Ohio tiltle reads 36841 mi. Don't ask me why. I'm confident that the odometer has not turned over based on the condition of the body, frame, brake pedal, seats etc.. Furthermore the car has been in my family for 10 years during which time it was rarely driven. It has been garage kept and started occasionally. The car has been undercoated. I want to be as honest as possible. I do not sell cars for a living. I want the buyer to be happy with the purchase. The sale price does not include shipping but I'll be more than happy to help with any arrangments. The car will be released when certified funds are made available. Please feel free to ask questions. |
