| Although not showroom perfect, this exceptionally clean 1986 New Yorker stands out among the best. It's compliment of equipment includes power steering, power brakes, power windows, power door locks, six way power seats (driver & passenger), speed control, tilt wheel, travel computer with visual & voice alerts, overhead console with compass and outside temperature, digital dash, automatic temperature control, remote outside mirrors, leather seats, vinyl padded Landau roof and a 2.2 litre turbocharged engine. Automobile has a clear title and a current Missouri State safety inspection valid until October 2008. Tires have about 70% tread remaining. Turbocharger runs strong. As listed above, this car's original mileage is 60,xxx miles. Depending on driving habits, the average fuel consumption is approximately 20 to 24 miles per gallon, but I have seen as high as 27 miles indicated on the travel computer. Recent repairs include a new radiator, thermostat, head gasket, timing belt, catalytic converter, blower motor electronic controller and A/C system converted to new R-134 refrigerant. The good: Original paint is in very good condition with minor scratches and flaws. All electronics, lights, controls and switches seem to operate perfectly. No body damge or rust on top side or the undercarriage. No rips, tears or burns on carpets or leather seats. This is a non smoker car. Keep in mind that this is not a show car, but for it's 22 years, it's a truly remarkable car that could be used as a daily driver or a very easy and simple restore. Car is extremely comfortable, drives perfectly on the highway with no pulling, shimmy or unusual noises. The bad: The A/C operates, but has a leak. Car idles a bit rough, but smooths out at normal speeds. Some curb rash on spoke wheels and chrome strips.
