| You are bidding on a 1976 Datsun 280Z. Car shows 85,000 miles but the engine (straight six) was rebuilt approximately five years ago. Transmission (five speed manual) and engine are both in good shape. Body is straight and is in fair to good condition...some rust bubbling (see pictures) and cracking on side. The car is road-worthy, passes inspection, has current tags and clear title. Tires, glass and body are in good shape overall. This car needs a lot of little cosmetic and mechnical repairs and is being sold as-is. This would be a good project car for a collector or mechanic. Known defects include: needs alignment or rotors turned (shudders when braking), roof liner sagging, rear window seals leak, dash/steering wheel cracked, AC does not cool very well...there are more faults but I'm not going to list them all.
