Up for auction is a pair of hard to find Datsun 240Zs only. The 1972 is in grey primer and has very recently developed surface rust. Do not be fooled by the pics, this car is EXTREMELY solid. I have pics of all rust spots posted here. A few minor dents, but this car is very restorable. This car sat in a garage until a couple of months go when I purchased it. I paid $750 for it and that was an excellent deal for someone searchig for one in this condition. Also, this car is numbers matching with 4spd and air conditioning. It all there. Last owner said it runs fine but needs clutch. I have not got around to essing with it.. I have been on 12hour days since I purchased it and do not see any time to tinker with these cars. They are sitting at friends property, ready for new home.
Burgundy (red) car looks like a gem, but it has real rust issues on the front frame rails, all the floor pans, etc... are shot. THIS CAR IS FOR PARTS (eBay). It does run and drive. It runs weak because the genius I bought from put a new 280z head on a 240z motor. Yeppers, you Z enthusiast know this doesnt work well. The cfm is off between cyl head and lower end. It ran and drove 100ft up the trailer and 100 ft up my drive. And there it sets. It has nubers matching motor and 5spd (probably 280zx tranny) trans. It also has an extra set of SU carbs that go with the cars. These sell for $300 all day on eBay. I bought at night for $1250 like an idiot. So, I am taking a big loss on this one.
