1981 Datsun 280zx
I am selling my Datsun 280ZX. It was my first car and I have owned it for the last 10 years. I have never had an accident while I have owned it. The car was reconditioned and repainted when I bought it and I have worked professionally as a car detailer while in highschool and college, so as you can probably imagine it is extra clean. It has been stored for the past 3 years and was just taken out a few weeks ago. It underwent an extensive tune up (details below) has a new VA inspection and ready to go.
The Good News
Recent tune up includes and not limited to: oil change, filter, bleed brake system, brake cleaner, brake fluid, cooling system flush, master brake cylinder, state inspection, replace fuel injectors, fuel induction service, platinum spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, ignition wire, and fuel filter.
Complete detail, including professional air and carpet sanitization service
New tires, clutch with less than 10k miles on it
Aftermarket stereo and bazooka sub included
NO OIL LEAKS or burning oil. (something I am incredibly proud of!) Runs smooth
Red exterior, red interior, T-Tops, tint, factory polished wheels (shown unpolished in pictures), power mirrors and windows, cruise control, intermittent wipers (a feature found mostly on newer higher end cars!)
Other
There are two spots of rust. One around the windshield and on the front right panel. However overall excellent condition hides it. The front lip has a small dent in it from where I hit a truck tire on the road. I was going to replace the front spoiler with an aftermarket piece, but never got around to it. The AC needs to be recharged and the rear windshield wiper lever is missing. The carpet in the rear hatch area is in new condition, but faded and the two rear interior panels are not in excellent condition as the rest of the interior
I have priced other Z's similar to mine. I am not expecting 'mint condition' price, but I have researched and seen other examples in comparable condition sell between $3500-4000.
