You are bidding on a 1948 DeSoto 2dr post sedan, with a straight 6 and a Fluid Drive transmission. Showing 42000 miles, this car runs and drives very well. It is a relatively original car, unmolested and unmodified. Most everything works on the car, except for the radio and the horn. The turn signals, wipers, lights, all work on the car. The photos speak for themselves; there is cracking in the paint, and there is light rust, most notably on the right running board between the door and the board (see pics). For what this car is, though, it would make a great driver, rat rod, or restoration project.
