1971 Dodge Demon 340 car You are looking at a REAL '71 Demon factory "H" code 340 car with the HP 727 automatic transmission. It is the VERY RARE original factory color EL5 Butterscotch exterior with the very rare original factory Black and White Houndstooth cloth and vinyl interior.
There were almost 70,000 Demons built in 1971. Most of them were 318 and slant 6 cars. Demons were cheap back then and they were known for being beat up, rusted, raced and abused. This is one of only 4932 rare 340 auto Demons built and it has survived the ravages of time and abuse.
This very nice car is rock solid and is all original sheetmetal! The car is all numbers matching except for the block and trans in the car now. However, the original numbers matching 340 block and crank do go with the car. You will have the best of both worlds, an awesome driving car with the original block set aside for safe keeping! The original VIN tag, door VIN sticker, fender tag with the inspection tab and the original stamped body numbers are all there to authenticate the car. It has a completely rebuilt drivetrain with no expense spared. There was a lot of time and money spent into maximizing its' performance. Top of the line performance parts were chosen to go into the building of the engine, transmission, rear end, exhaust, fuel, suspension, oil and cooling systems to make this one of the best performing street cars it could be! The paint and detail to the engine and drivetrain were made to look close to stock and they are so clean and neat you could eat off of them! This car is extremely QUICK and it is a stunning car with the way it looks, sounds and runs!
