Hello! Welcome to my auction. You are looking at a used vintage Mopar 1973 Dodge Charger Special Edition. I have had this car for close to 20 years. I need to part with it, as I don't have the room to work on it and store it. Use it for parts or restore it.
I had the joy of talking to the original owner back when I bought it! After she calmed down from some stranger calling about an old car she had, she answered a few questions on the car. My main one was why the front buckets had dark grey inserts! She said this was the replacements she was given from the dealer. Old saying when it comes to Chrysler "Never say never".
When I bought this I only had a chance to drive it for one month! We pulled the engine, stripped it down to have the body work done. Shop did not finish, as you can see! Had to remove it from his property. Been a lonely time for it. Had a lot of things happen since, and now I can't finish it! Hope someone will take the time to do so.
Have CLEAR title, build sheet, repro window sticker, and two body tags. I believe the extra is the paint tag.
Engine is gone. Can be easily replaced with another big block, such as a 383, 400, or 440. Tranny, drive train there. 28" radiator gone. Have most of the rest of the parts, some pot metal pieces, mainly emblems, are gone. Bucket seats, console, hood latch support are there, just not pictured. Have pics of rear lower door panels. Fenders are from a different car (no holes for turn signals), and have them uninstalled and off the car for 15+ years. Fenders under-structure are bad! Typical rust-out underside of the thin layer. One support brace has detached on one side. Trunk lid is from another car. Car has been sitting for 15+ years. So it is dirty, and will need to be finished gutting. I just got this back to me in November, and it's been too cold here to clean it out. It will ALL need to be redone. It does have some rust, been a Michigan car all it's life. Better shape than some I have seen though. Front end, K-frame mounts look ok. Floors need fixing or replacing. I was told this happened because of the deadener and jute padding. Passenger trunk extension seems to have it's seam sealer loosen up. I had to pry it up and hold it for a pic. Other side look ok. Drivers side quarter panel had been replaced with an NOS 3/4 panel! Original quarter had the old drill pull out holes. Besides the dash and steering wheel, the rest of the interior pieces have NOT been sitting inside the car! These were stored elsewhere.
Car is originally TRIPLE green! JF8 Metallic green paint, F6 green interior, and the vinyl roof was green. Looks like it had a green body side paint stripe too. Gone when I got the car.
Car has the rear DEFROST option too! It did work back then, pretty good too! Another strange item on this car I have not seen before; this has the door panel emblems that read "Brougham".

First picture shows a paint spot on the quarter panel. It is not a rust hole!
