| | Vehicle Description |
| All original 1956 Dodge Coronet 2 door sedan. Flathead 6 cylinder with 75,000 miles, 3 speed manual transmission. The transmission makes some gear noise, possibly a bearing. It does not have an affect on the shifting or driving of the car. The car does leak and drip oil from underneath, see picture. Some maintance of seals and gaskets should correct this issue. The car runs and drives out great, plus it has new radial tires. The car drives down the road straight. It has been well maintained. The gas tank has been boiled and cleaned. The brakes are strong. They are in proper working condition, no pulling when applied. The wheel cylinders have been rebuilt and synthetic brake fluid was used. It still is 6 volt wiring. All the lighting, wipers, dash lights turn signals work properly. The front seat is worn and needs to be recovered. The rear seat is in good condition. The windshield has a crack on the driver's side lower edge. The side glass and rear glass is in good condition. The windows roll up and down properly. The exterior of the car was repainted about 30 years ago. It still looks great at 20 feet. It still has a fair shine for the age and quality of the paint. The passenger side rocker panel has damage, see picture. The driver's side door has a light crease in it, hard to photograph. The roof above the back window has some dent damage and needs to be repaired. The quarter panels on both sides have been body filler around the wheel opening, see pictures. The passenger side lower fender has been repaired also, see picture. All the body work was done in the mid-seventies has held up fairly well. The floorboards, trunk floor, frame and body mounts are solid, see pctures. The stainless trim is in pretty good condition overall and is complete. There is some pitting on the taillight trim. Also included are few extra parts that have been gathered up. Included are: driveshaft, flathead engine head, 3 speed transmission, taillight bezel, radio delete plate and generator. These extra items are 1956 Dodge products and go with the auction. If you have any questions, please ask prior to placing any bids. This is a No Reserve auction... If you are Bidding....
