1971 Dodge Challenger RT Matching numbers, real RT, real FC7 (Plum Crazy). This a solid car originally from Missouri. The odometer reads 79,000 miles. It has a four year old restoration, that includes a highly detailed engine bay, door jams, and trunk area. The engine is a fresh professional rebuild, it is running around 10.5 to 1 compression ratio. It got an Engle Cam, which was ground to match vehicle weight, rear gear ratio, and H.P. It has a new 670 Holley Street Avenger Carb. 2" Doug's Headers, matched up to aluminized dual exhaust and Flowmasters. The heads were also freshened with a completely new valve train. I also put a full MSD ignition system on the car, I hid it as well as possible to keep the original look. The tranny is a 727 which is also freshly rebuilt with a mild stall converter. It has the 8 3/4 inch sure grip (posi track) rearend with 3.73 gears. Power steering, manual brakes, and non-working air-conditioning (needs hoses). The interior is in great shape, minus the normal dash cracks (approx. one inch long) around the center speaker hole. I hid a Pioneer CD deck in the glove box, to keep the dash in original appearance. This car is fast and fun. I would say this car is perfect for someone who does not want a trailer queen, however wants a step up from a daily driver. NADA has this car priced at $90,000. Serious, no low ball bids only.
